So I had it working all lovely, but this evening it looks like this:

It had an update pending so I updated hoping it would fix the issue, but no joy. I dont suppose any of our resident experts could shed some light?

I think there was a predbat update which broke the custom cards. The default one works.
Yeah I have the default one as part of my overview dashboard, but I really liked the custom one so had it in my side bar.
Thanks for responding 🙂

Is it @PianSom’s custom card you use? He may have to fix it.
This is the one
Its fixed now. Need to update to the latest version of the Predbat table card if you upgrade predbat (or let it auto-upgrade itself) to 7.17.10

Thanks. Can you guide me what i need to do to fix things please?
I saw 2 HACS updates and installed those and all working now.
I only installed predator yesterday but the Active slider keeps going to 'off.
Is there something I need to do

Predbat. Not some new piece of software called Predator. Doh!
SteveCook the Active slider keeps going to 'off.
that’s perfectly normal
Predbat runs automatically every 5 minutes to update its plan. When its running the active switch is set to on, in between runs its set to off. You can turn the switch on yourself if you want to manually force predbat to re-run, but normally its not necessary as any change to predbat’s configuration will cause an automatic re-run, or it happens every 5 minutes automatically

Not me, I am just a user. @pacemaker is the custom card genius.
As amply demonstrated by his quick fix
(BTW pacemaker - in case you hadn't noticed, there's a couple of new suggestions at the bottom of the Discussion on GitHub. And only one is mine!)

Thanks.
I am on Octopus Flux tariff.
Should I turn my off peak import and peak export HA autmations off and let predbat take care of things?
SteveCook Hi Steve, welcome to the world of Predbat !
In short, yes, Predbat should take care of your battery charging and discharging and under normal circumstances you shouldn’t need any automations of your own. And if you still have your own automations running Predbat will change the inverter to match its plan if it doesn’t like what you are doing!
Suggest you start off with mode set to Control Charge & Discharge and set Read Only to True - predbat will then create a plan and monitor your load and PV predictions against the plan but won’t actually execute it.
Do have a good read of the documentation, lots of material in there about how to configure Predbat and FAQ’s on ‘why is the plan not what I am expecting’.
You will almost certainly find that Predbat doesn’t plan to charge your battery as much overnight on Flux, only if its a poor solar day. The overnight import rate and the day-time export rate are so close that after conversion losses are included, its generally not worth charging overnight. Remember Predbat is doing a least-cost optimisation for you, aiming to deliver your house load with the cheapest electricity.
PS: There is a very long post on this forum ‘first night live on predbat’ - lots of good experience from others going through the same Predbat journey
