My home screen looks like

The EV unit does not seem to be connected and when charging only run slowly at 1.4kw.
Is there something wrong ?

(I have a Zappi rather than a GE charger...) I guess the question is, what were you expecting ? 1.4kW is the minimum allowed by the charging protocol to the car. You're only generating 1.7kW, and some of that is consumed by the house. So in order to achieve 1.4kW it would have to supplement with some grid import. Generally, a solar-aware chargepoint would run at the minimum charging power until solar picked up.

I think you can configure it to run only when there's sufficient solar, or to always charge at least 1.4kW, supplementing solar with grid as required.

As DD has said what are you expecting to happen ? Also what config mode is your charger set too ?

The user interface is not the easiest to understand but the charger does work well and the smart features work well. At least for me. The biggest thing to learn is it does not react instantily.
