I'm on 3012 and it's all working fine. I have had an update firmward button for ages but nothing tells me what it will update to and what would be the benefit if I do. I won't update without a compelling reason to do so.
Where can I find the latest verson info and release notes please?

Take a look at the knowledgebase on the Givenergy website it lists all the firmware updates and changes for each device and model. The descriptions can be a bit light on explanation but you will get the gist usually.
My advice would be if your system is working OK then ignore the update until that changes or you are advised to update by Givenergy.

If everything is working ok I wouldn't bother upgrading, if you want to upgrade then wait until Monday morning so that you can contact support if it goes wrong.
gwynnej3 this is where I'm at. I'm on 3.12 same as you and it's been stable for a while now. However since yesterday we've had one battery stuck at 100% - the only option GE support are offering is to update to 3.15, irrespective of some reports that it's actually not great in some cases (over voltage issues). So now I'm debating when to hit the update button, given that my last two updates when badly wrong, it's quite concerning! GE support have a small team in tomorrow and holiday Monday if it helps.

gwynnej3 I updated last night. The actual firmware update worked fine and I finally got the battery calibration to start after realising the breaker on the primary had tripped for some reason. Early days but all working even though the packs are about 5% different at the top end. I'll update if I see any issues.
I had over voltage issues soon after "upgrading" battery firmware to 3015. Reported it to GE who had to do a remote "low/slow" (27hrs) battery recalibration to fix the problem. This stopped the battery over voltage issues but now the batts won't charge to 100% - 96% max most of the time. Fix one problem & create another!
CGoode not good. I plan to cycle them a fair bit in the coming days to see how stable and aligned they are. I don't keep track of the beta firmware development these days but I guess there are further refinements due?
I think running the batteries down low on a timed export or similar seems to help balance the batteries. I had SOC differences of 15% between my 2 x 9.5kW batts. After exporting excess capacity down to 4% & re-charging overnight they were back to within 5% & charged to 100%. However, the day after they would bot charge beyond 96% again. Frustrating.
CGoode mine are full at the moment. 95 and 99% respectively although the one at 99% shows a lower overall voltage. On 3.12 it was closer than this but early days. The secondary is also showing several Ah short of design capacity although "full". It's a bit hit and miss with GE gear and state of charge but if you get the expected kWh output and no unexpected jumps up or down, then I guess it's manageable, albeit a bit frustrating. It's certainly a lot better than the crap performance of the older firmwares, those were atrocious for lots of people.
