I have an AIO and gateway with a third-party PV inverter. I have one charge from grid period overnight that takes the battery to 90%. On sunny days consumption is less than a quarter of generation capacity so I was expecting the battery to be topped up to 100% by PV, but once it gets to 90% it stops charging the battery and exports any surplus. How do I get it to charge the battery fully? I can't see anything in my inverter data that would impose this limit.

gco I don't have an AIO, so can't be sure, but from reading other posts, I get the impression that the 90% charging limit applies to solar charging too. Which is a bit weird.
I have made a suggestion, but don't think I ever got any feedback - maybe the charge limit that the app offers is a sort of "global" limit. If, instead, you use the per-charging-slot limit, via the remote control section, it's possible that you can limit AC charging to 90%, but still allow solar charging to 100%.

If, on the web dashboard, you go to My Inverter then click the gear symbol top right it will take you to the settings that control your charging. I would be looking there to see what is set to 90%.
Is it just the timed charge slot? Or does it appear anywhere else? (Mine are all 100%. Out of curiosity, why do you only charge to 90%?)
DD Interesting: I put a 90% limit on the individual charging slot and then switched off the AC percentage charge limit. The PV power switched from export to battery charging. So that's at least a start! Thanks for the tip.
PianSom I can't find how I set the 90% limit, but now it's set for the individual charging slot overnight and I've disabled the general AC charging limit.
In terms of what I'm trying to achieve...
First, I want to reserve at least 50% of the battery capacity to handle power cuts.
Then I want to minimise export (ideally to zero). My plan is to start the day with sufficient spare battery capacity to absorb any surplus PV generation, but on days when PV generation is low I want the battery to be topped up to that level overnight from the grid. 90% was simply an initial figure for experimentation: arriving at the best percentage will require some experimentation.

Hmm... it's possible that turning off 'Enable AC Charge upper % limit' will disable it for all the charging slots. Not an experiment I've ever tried. (Since AIO is AC coupled, even solar charging can be considered AC charging, whereas my hybrid inverter sees solar as DC.)
So if it charges to 100% overnight, you might try leaving AC charge upper % limit enabled, but set the % to 100%. (Having a separate 'enable' flag seems a bit redundant, since you can just set the limit to 100%.)
HI, i have three (3) AC 3.0 inverters feeding three pairs of 8.2KW batteries and an 8KW Solar Array. It all worked so well for three years on BMS 3007 and until I attempted to upgrade to BMS 3015 (at the behest of GivEnergy support).
The first inverter simply stopped dead and required a visit from a GivEnergy engineer to replace a control board before it could be revived.
While he was on site, he upgrared the other two inverters to BMS 3015.
The two he upgraded now work as they used to, but the other one (with the replaced control board) insists on not tracking the other two ... it charges overnight then discharges in the morning, ignoring any available PV. This includes discharging to the grid, seemingly at random.
It has been reported to GivEnergy several times over the past four months, but no-one ever does anything to resolve it.
GiveEnergy kit looks good and on past experience I would nhave said works well too, but their technical support is abysmal and they thoroughly deserve their 1* rating on TrustPilot (which appears to be the only way to get a response from them.
