This is being messed around with quite a bit as along with the new equipment support it uses a different underlying library that's also getting refactored a fair amount too.

Do post up any bugs found as it's quite difficult to test all use cases/equipment as none of us have every piece of equipment to test against.

Somewhat frustratingly, I am a HA Container user, and his development path is as an Add-on to HA OS - which I can't use.

Guess I am going to have to brush off my (somewhat lacking and very rusty) docker skills and see if I can build a container myself ...

I have spun up a container and looking at the MQTT output (not connected to HA as yet).

All looking ok so far - can see 4 x batteries, each having 24 x cell voltages. But only 12 x cell temperatures - is this correct? (In any case, quite the achievement, since I still have NUMBATTERIES_1=1 on this container)

Also raw/batteries/bcu/cells_per_module = 0 - is that correct?

I wonder what the implication of this is -

Inside the AIO is 1x Battery Management Unit (BMU)
Beneath that sits 4x Battery Modules each having a BCU.
Beneath each BCU sits 24 cells (implying either we've not got that register working quite right or the firmware simply doesn't have that info in it)

So sounds about right what your seeing. Temperature probes - is that per module or just 12 in total?
3 per module could be 2 between the cells and another on the BCU - do any of them seem to run much hotter than others which would help narrow down where they are? (As you can see we are in uncharted territory)

The last part will be the difference between each of the 4 battery modules so on yours the highest module is 100% full and atleast one of the others is not. I guess if the gap starts widening the you'll have less and less capacity (which may be of interest to those on the BMS thread who are struggling with getting 13.5kWh)

(BMU / BCU may be named other way around, I'm on holiday and full of Tequila Sunrise's)

Oh and the system detection thing has been modified so it's hopefully not needing you to tell it what you have battery wise, it should just auto detect.

I'm actually seeing 24 temperature probes per module (12 which show reasonable values plus 12 more reading zero, see below). A quick glance suggests that the lower number ones seem to be a degree or two hotter than the lower ones, but I can start to monitor more rigorously as necessary.

I'm just out of a Power-up session with very little solar, and the unit is in discharge mode, so that 100/97 sounds like it makes sense.

Tequila Sunrises?! - Are you on holiday in the 1980's? 🙂

PianSom the cells are in 2 rows of 12 but seeing as they are sandwiched together the 12 temps total seems plenty.
Assume row 1 (cells temps 1-6) is the back row and row 2 (cell temps 7-12) are the front ones - in my head that makes sense as the front of the AIO is probably cooler than the back?) Someone with an outside one might show that kind of thing more.

Might suggest we ditch the 0 value temp probes as its pointless sending back 12 lots of Zero 4 times over each time its read.

And yes I'm on holiday with Duran Duran...
