hi, does anyone have experience of using the EPS on the new GivEnergy 3Phase Hybrid inverter.
Just had the 11kw installed with 20Kwh batteries & installer hasn't wired up the EPS - (yet?)

The EPS docs on the GivEnergy website don't explicitly cover the 3Phase inverters but do say that all their inverters support EPS.

I'm not expecting it to run 3 phase devices where you need phase timing etc. just take over the whole house supply when power goes out.

The EPS docs offer 4 wiring options. option 3 - manual switch into consumer unit seems best to me as we can switch off cookers etc on the CU prior to cutting over to minimise risk of overload.

Thoughts much appreciated

Thank you very much

bit more background.
We were forced to 3 phase by DNO spread solar power as we are out in sticks - no no big power drains - luckily it was already nearby.

Due to existing house wiring we have split 3 phases into existing 2 separate CUs & Car charger - would only want 2 CUs backed up of course.

Does the three phase hybrid inverter offer three EPS outputs?

I'm guessing probably not.

But I have no idea about those devices.

You won't be able to mix the phases so if it offers one EPS, choose one CU - or create a new CU for EPS circuits.

Also watch your load if you have perm live EPS or automatic failover. You don't want to overload the inverter when it is running in EPS mode. And probably don't want to overload it under normal operation too!

Not really related, but all this talk of 3 Phase reminded me of the time when we had the contract to wire up three very large industrial pumps in a new Pumping Station. The lad who did the job was meticulously neat, the cabling was a joy to behold in its symmetry. Unfortunately when testing time came nothing happened. He'd had a major brainfart and wired each individual pump to a separate phase. He was known as " three phase " from thereon.

Ta, Yes, it does, looks like we can do it with a manual 3 phase switch.
