I’m on holiday and my system says it’s offline and I cannot see any data on my Home Screen. How can I remotely get it back On line??
System offline
I'm offline too. It appears my system went offline at 3am, but a visual check of the inverter and battery confirms it is working correctly and has charged up overnight. I suspect a server failure at GivEnergy. It wouldn't be the first.
Update: I have rebooted my router and I am now online, so the problem was my end.

I’ll try to reboot router and see if that works
Thanks for your reply
HALST I’ll try to reboot router and see if that works
Sometimes after rebooting the router the inverter doesn’t reconnect so it might be worth shutting down the inverter and starting it back up again if the router reboot doesn’t work
HALST. Nope I have installed a new router now from sky. So how do I get the system to use that router, assuming it needs to connect to this new WiFi?? My Home Screen just says it’s offline
HALST Your inverter connects to your wifi to send its data back to the Givenergy portal and the app. If you change the wifi then the inverter has no way to connect and so it will say its offline.
Have a search in this forum, lots of people have done the same. In essence, two options, you either need to connect to your inverter's own wifi (for which you need the password your installer set, often the inverter serial number), or simpler is to change your new sky router to have the same SSID (name) and password as your old wifi.
If you want to do option 1, have a look at the wifi guide on kb.givenergy.cloud
geoffreycoan a third option is power up old router. No need to connect it to broadband, but as long as provides WiFi AP then router can connect to it. Then connect to inverter's http server that way, and reconfigure it
