Is it possible to have two All in ones wired together using one gateway ?

Almae soon, yes.

Both AIOs would be powered from the gateway, e.g. extra circuit on the busbar in the gateway for the second AIO.

The AIOs I think then have a data connection between them.

There's a few people testing them at present including GE staff.

Think they're starting to sell them too, but finding an installer that knows about it might not be easy just yet, early days.

But bear in mind that that’s a GivEnergy “soon”, so in reality anywhere between now and 2 years away.

It is in test but how long it’ll be in test and when it’ll come as a launched product, well, who knows.

geoffreycoan This is something I have been thinking about, but if the time-line is extending, do you know if it is possible to configure the system such that I could install a DC-coupled battery onto the hybrid inverter that would work with the AIO - when I spoke to someone on the help desk they suggested that this would not be possible?

If it matters to you (it did to me) there are alternatives at about the same price point that do this already today.

I’d suggest taking an already working option or accepting there’s a risk it might not come (albeit there’s a good chance it will)
