System Seems all over the place

I have just had an All in One installed with FW D0.611-A0.611 and Dongle FW version 902
I have a gateway on A0.008 and Dongle Version 205

So firstly I seem unable to get the system to do anything sensible.

I have yet to set up my feedback tariff with Octopus but that aside I have some odd things occurring.

The system is on Eco Mode. I have turned off timed export so I would hope no battery would export, however I am currently sitting with a home demand of 500w or so, a battery at 80%

However even though my battery is set to charge between 00:00 and 04:30 I am seeing the system draw power from the grid both for the house and for th battery!

I cannot get the battery to discharge to the house without doing a quick action which discharges it at full to the house and the grid. Can you not set it to never discharge to the grid? It seems an awful lack of basic features that you can't control where your energy flows.

However more concerning is how often I am pulling power from the grid when there is available battery and good generation going on.

Also the cloud portal seems to be showing completely made up data. Of course this is only true 30% of the time as the inverters spend more time offline that on, but the data on the cloud vs the app are completely different - it reports no power being taken from the grid, but the app shows there is power being pulled and also my smart meter is showing this too, so what the hell is going on?

Has anyone else experienced this?

ok so right now I have a full battery - a demand of 594w and yet the system is pulling 516w from the grid and 97w from the battery... this thing seems totally incompetent

Sorry, we don't have information from that to know whether there's a problem. Is it also importing from or exporting to the grid?

Not "never", but it usually leaks only a few watts.

The portal takes only 5-min snapshots, so can miss activity that the app sees.

I can think of several configuration params that could cause all this

• battery reserve set too high
• battery discharge power set too low
• timed discharge configured

Maybe there's an installation problem with the CT clamp, so that it's not aware of grid usage. (I assume AIO uses a CT clamp?)
