Manual battery calibration?

My battery did a firmware update and recalibration ... during which, because I didn't know the recalibration was happening, my Home Assistant automations carried on doing their usual things, thus making the system do various different things whilst in the middle of the recalibration.

Which I suspect has resulted in the calibration being wrong, as evidenced by sudden jumps in the reported battery state (eg whilst discharging it shows a very rapid decline between 26% and 11%).

Is there a way to force a manual recalibration to correct this?

No, only GE support can initiate a calibration.

I believe the Dev builds of GivTCP allow you to start & stop your own calibrations now:

AFAIK when the inverter is recalibrating it will ignore any other charge or discharge instructions sent to it. The only thing you can do is to change the inverter charge and discharge rates

Ooh interesting addition hoggy
