Is the GE system down??? I could log into my account this morning on the app and online, the online says bad gateway and the app is not responding either, no change in passwords, anyone else having issues??

Yes same for me, coincident with the zoa app launch which requires an API token from the portal login. May be unrelated.

Neal720 Yep, same here.

The website says everything is running fine clearly not, glad it’s not just me!

Yep same here

Now changed to 503. Maintenance. Which doesn't help me kill off my timed export early given the poorer solar conditions today...

Thanks for the update, they could’ve given notice of this over the weekend at least!

Neal720 Agreed, unless of course it was an unplanned outage. Could be a self denial of service if as Mix it's linked to this new app and the flood of access requests. Fingers crossed it's nothing more serious.

Relief it’s not just me hope it’s soon tho or I’ll export everything

I think it will be back up shortly. For next time it happens, my android app should still work when the portal is down.

Perfect timing, was just about to turn the timed export off…

API calls are timing out as well:
requests.exceptions.HTTPError: 504 Server Error: Gateway Time-out for url: https://api.givenergy.cloud/v1/inverter/
They have been for a while. The webpage about maintenance is probably a default page. As mentioned could be denial of service either maliciously or overloaded by legitamate requests or system failure!

Same for me, Android app won't even let me logout haha, no access to the dashboard with "bad gateway" error.

Same for me - i needed to log in as for some reason the system has reduced the EV charger to 6A, when it was fully loaded before (and certified as such by the electricity board)

Rubikcube Thanks but unfortunately on this occasion I can’t everything is MacOs or iOS in my household.

I too am finding the website isn’t working. Annoying as I need to reset the inverter again as its stopped talking to GivTCP

The BBC basic app is still working fine for direct inverter control

The iOS app is intermittently working for me now. Just manages to stop the forced export with just enough capacity to get me through to the off peak rate

I seem to be OK viewing the dashboard on the laptop but the App on Android is not working for me.

Back in on ios app and portal. Hopefully, issue sorted.

You can run an android emulator on MacOS. One way is by using Android Studio
https://developer.android.com/codelabs/basic-android-kotlin-compose-install-android-studio#3

IOS has limitations on apps that run continuously (like a server). IOS is best kept for phones.

Android tablets (new and second hand) are readily available from many shops and online outlets. Many people have both IOS and Android. According to the EE advert you can have up to 100 devices (which isn't actually a true limitation you can have more).
