Reboot query

Whilst I don't do this often I feel it would be beneficial to once in a while restart the inverter. I've seen a few threads where a restart has been recommended, and not wanting to be caught short if the inverter's doing something it shouldn't be if we're away from home for an extended period of time.

My programming is very static and I don't run any automation.

Does anyone else do this? And if so if a controlled shut down preferential over a simple inverter restart?

In addition on some inverters a software initiated reboot will wipe the daily total for import and export, setting it back to zero. Known bug, but not sure if fixed yet. So that may cause data to appear wrong for that day.

I have a gen 3 5kW inverter since last Sept and have never rebooted it. It just works perfectly apart from the app pause functionality which was broken by a firmware update.
