Hi,
Like many others, I noticed there is an inverter update, so I went ahead with it. After 30-40 minutes, I got a BMS Communication Fail message, and the inverter has been offline since then. I tried to restart it, but had no luck.
Is there anything else I can do?
Last update: D0.205-A0.205, no new one now

I had something like this before and had to get a full reboot.
I shut down the DC isolators so no power coming from PV panels.
I turned off the battery with the button Right side 9.5kwhr.
I turned the battery isolator breaker off . Left hand side 9.5kwhr
I then turned the MCB in the consumer unit feeding the inverter off.
All the above removed all power to the inverter and it's motherboard.
Waited a few minutes to let everything drain
I turned everything back on in reverse and it all restarted,

Sorry to hear that. You may have to get GivEnergy to email you the files and install them via the USB inside the kit
I did this update last Sunday and my system has been knackered ever since. Emails to Tech Support resulted in:-
A) Them attempting to do a recalibration last night. This was going to take 65 days @ 6w( the battery output)
B) them agreeing to send an engineer round to fix it. When, I don't know.
The battery was installed Jan 2023. It was replaced by G/E 2 months later. This appears to have been triggered by the Inverter fW update. Engineer will visit " fully booked up for 2 weeks but will come earlier if we get a cancellation" Sounds like they have a lot of duff kit or not enough engineers.
I had to have my first AIO replaced after a month of installation for the same thing. I pressed update and then the whole thing never came back to life. Took them a month to send an engineer who couldn’t fix it, then another month to come and replace it.
I don’t do the updates myself anymore, I call support and have them do it from their end.
