App showing negative consumption??

For the past few days, potentially since the last app update I have been getting odd readings in the app, things like negative figures for home consumption and other strange things, I bit the bullet and upgraded the firmware on my inverter/battery last night and following it's recalibration the app is still doing it, I have checked the online dashboard too and it seems the same. My export to Octopus still seems about right based on the generation in the enphase app (still working fine). But hard to say for sure as the home consumption is all wrong. Any ideas, I have sent a restart to the inverter and reset the app settings on the battery to defaults. This happened once before and I turned the battery off completely and that seems to resolve it moving forward, but the erroneous readings never corrected them selves sadly. I don't want this to go on for too long so I will try cold boot the battery this weekend if there is no resolution in sight and hope, but I also dont want this to keep happening. Is there anything else that needs to be done by me or someone else?

Do you have more than one inverter or an older FIT array on your house? I have both and the figures in the energy dashboard are also negative because the GivEnergy system doesn’t know about these extra generations.

The home consumption figure is derived from import-export+discharge-charge+solar gen, not a measured item so if one of these is ‘off’ then it could lead to strange results

ChrisH I'd definitely be focusing on the raw numbers: the graphs and charts make it easy to visualise, but add extra layers of software in which bugs can lurk. If it's just a bug in the app/portal charting software, there's no point putting the inverter through reset cycles.

It seems to have settled back to a normal display, I have not restarted anything again since doing the firmware update and it seems to have eventually started showing more realistic figures again. None the wiser as to why but it is a little frustrating when I look at the app and see that, makes me feel I need to check everything to ensure the system us behaving normally (which it usually is). I should really put a bit more time into something that shows true data all the time, but I'm not quite there yet with this although I have been thinking about how to add some intelligence into flux cheap rate charging based of peception of the next days weather... but that's a future me problem 😀

Thanks for the replies though guys
