Settings Keep Changing

Getting a bit sick of having to keep having to change settings, back to how I want it to be on the portal side (I don't use the app)
e.g., I switched off Tarif automations earlier on today as I don't have solar fitted and I want to manage it myself.
Saved and I got the confirmation, great no worries. Checked before and its back active again.
Switched off timed export as I don't need it, once again checked it and it's enabled itself.
I'm forever switching off ECO mode as I don't need it at the moment.
Is anyone else getting the same buggy issues or is it just me?
Once things are set I'd expect them to stay set unless I change them again.

I have an issue if I set a timed export. It seems to be unpredictable as to how it responds to this, it can start to export immediately even if the time is set several hours later, it also may not stop at the selected stop time, and finally it has even started and stopped at the right time, but then re-started several hours later leaving my battery empty.

Just looked again after setting them last night, and once again tariff automation is back enabled, timed export is enabled.
Yeah Martyn it's small things like this which can actually cost you more than what you are trying to save in the first place.

head to the inverter page, settings and scroll down to remote control history. It should show all times when a command has been issued to change a setting. Does it show the change you made and then another change to reset or not change or ... ?

locked Yeah i've been on the remote control page, and you can see the changes, going from the true/false etc and you can see the times etc

DeanoC75 can you tell anything from the times for instance if you set a parameter is it reset immediately or... ? It might give a clue to what is causing the reset

locked Yeah I changed the eco setting back to off at 15:09:45 and got the previous value from true to the false.
At 15:10:43 eco mode was previous value false to true which I never set so it had changed back.
But I'm also sick of having to change the timed export off, as I don't need it used, and the timed discharge keeps switching off which I do need.

Just annoying really, as I've just checked again and eco mode is back on, but even when I set the auto tariff to off, I can swap to another page and go back and its back on again.

I have not got an installed system yet, but have been trying out the timed options on the demo cloud portal.

My experience was that some of the timed settings are mutually exclusive, so if you set 1 then move on to set a 2nd, it is as if a script is run when you enable the 2nd timed option that sometimes undoes what you had set on the 1st timed option. It becomes more clear if you then look at the command history, where you will see the timestamp of each change made, some of which are what you applied, and some that are automatic un-setting of what you had set earlier.

Simon_C Simon, even when i set them on the remote page, where you have the options to maybe set 2 timings (similar to app) for some instances, these often are enabled/disabled even without entering any information, or take values from other settings.
It just seems the the inverter always wants to to revert back to some sort of default settings for you even though you don't want them.
I just think it needs to have a better settings interface where you can dictate what you have and haven't got, then it wouldn't look for that condition. Eg I currently don't have solar fitted to my hybrid, so if there was a say a check box to enable/disable all solar related items.

When you make a change using the web portal, there should be a popup that tells you whether the change succeeded or errored. Are you seeing that?

pulling together a few of the messages. I would
First ensure all of the Timed options are disabled (Charge discharge and export). Each time a change is made a success message should be seen (bottom of the screen). If success is not displayed (or an error message) it will revert back to previous setting.

If all is good after setting timed options to disabled then try switching state of eco and see if that sticks.

andrew_bond locked yeah i keep seen the confirmed message at the bottom, so no issues there, even if I use the remote change page it will do the same. Only time it holds settings is if I stay on the settings page.

DeanoC75 one other thing to check that caused me problems a while back. The inverter time clock got out of sync and caused problems. Not certain how to check this, as it was Giv support that spotted the problem.

if settings are not sticking suspect its time to in contact with support

Can someone explain to me why eco mode and timed export keeps enabling itself?
Starting to get a bit sick of this now like.

DeanoC75 same happened to me - same date as the app updated on my phone. The log therefore says that __ I __ changed the values - I did not!!!
