Cards - Energy GraphCloud Portal

I'm still getting used to the new portal, but have a query.

Why does the energy graph in the portal only show generation, grid to home and battery to home. The old portal also showed export to grid. The current graph is pointless as for today it shows only the summary of the 3 sub headings, and does not include the total generation. This seems to make this chart totally useless, as it is not recording the true picture, as a large slice just 'disappears'.
So with this new chart I have no clear idea of total generation over the year, as a large chunk of data is simply ignored.

This current portal doesn't seem fit for purpose!!

JHP On the top row, there's date, period, and source/destination. The default for the latter is 'home', so it shows the contributions to home from grid, solar and battery. If you drop down the list and choose generation, it shows total generation plus a breakdown of where it went.

Or you can go to the report section and generate an annual (or any other period) report

Don't you get these icons? And if you expand it, they're all in the dropdown.

I've always thought these icons are wrong!

To me, the one with the arrow away from the grid (Grid Out) should imply Grid to Home/ Grid to Battery...

...whereas the one with the arrow towards the grid (Grid In) should imply Solar to Grid / Battery to Grid

But I think they are transposed. Doesn't seem intuitive to me.

Thanks for that RJP. I hadn't realised what the icons are for. But would still like, Generation, usage, grid in. grid out on the same chart, as per the legacy dashboard, which in my view displayed the data in an easier to understand form.

Keeping the figures separate seems weird to me. I don't particuarly like the new graph, as you have to manually change it to monthly every time you look at it,

Thanks for the answer though.
