EV charger Ethernet wont work

Any ideas as to why my charger wont work when connected to ethernet, on initial setup i went straight to ethernet connection and it fails on the first step, tried multiple times same error, then i tried without ethernet and setup via wifi and it works, tried ethernet again with same result. tested cable with laptop and its all good. contacted support and because i had it on wifi they said it was working, they sent me some ports to forward which i did with the same result, no connection on ethernet.

I’ve seen on the GivTCP github that the EV can’t be controlled locally when connected via Ethernet but it works fine on wifi. Sounds like there’s some firmware issues with the wired connection
