On the dashboard, i have loaded the Smart Tariff plugin and linked it to my Agile Octopus tariff. On the plugin, there is an option for Tariff Automations and a few options to select. Is there any GE documentation about what happens with each option? Not found anything online apart from how to link the panel to your octopus account (which I have done).

I have a gen1 HY3.6, 4kW PV array and an 8.2kWh battery.

I have also tried the smart tariff beta plugin but that just gives server error when I enter the details.

I wouldn’t bother with the smart tariff plugin on the portal, others that have tried have said it doesn;t work very well

You’d be better to use something like Wonderwatt or My Energy Optimiser to control your battery if you are on Agile, or go down the Predbat within Home Assistant route. Plenty of people on this forum use these

Is this the new BETA plugin?
Where you can define price point to charge below and cut offs above?

wrighar It is the old one at the moment. I am trying to get the beta one to work but it won't connect to Octopus even though the old one does. GE support are looking into the beta one at the moment.

geoffreycoan I have been testing wonderwatt which works reasonably well and I did look at predbat but WW was easier at the time. Might have a look at the "predbat from scratch" topic.

alan_johnston GE support have done an update to the BETA version and it will now connect to Octopus for me. Just need to work out what it does...
Doesn't look as comprehensive as WonderWatt.
