Curious if there are any inverters on the way that would allow charging and discharging of existing batteries at higher rates? Capped at 3.6kwh with my gen2 and would love to be able to do 4 or 5 even.
Cheers,
Mick

I'd imagine so, the Gen 3 battery firmware changelog lists things like BEAST mode (presumed some sort of short duration boost) and also notes things like CANbus connections (which are currently pointless on current hardware as none of them have Canbus, only RS485)
So to me, there's a Gen 4 coming soon with higher output.

Also some sort of Hybrid AIO I guess (AIO Hybrid and Gateway 2)

For those that may not have seen, there were a couple of things from the pipeline shown. Various iterations of inverters (such as those that work with stackable batteries) but I think the two people might be most interested in are:
Basic String inverter: https://givenergy.co.uk/products/string-inverter/
But probably more useful is AIO2 (that's actually AIO)
So has 6xMPPT inputs and a small screen on the front:

This is them one upping the pw3?
Hybrid G3 Plus
Hybrid G3 HV (high voltage?)
AIO Hybrid / AIO2

hoggy Is there any indication if they're thinking about how to deal with the proposed new building regs on install locations.
Lovely unit, going to need impact protection in a garage/front of house & next to drive locations though.
I know it's all shiny shiny rather than substance at these shows......

Vestas I’ve no idea, I didn’t go to the show, I’ve just robbed those images off twitter.
