Dodgy battery behaviour

We had a heat pump etc fitted just over a week ago. Since then the app has played up although it seems fixed now but often doesn’t self update. A couple of times the battery has stopped supplying the house completely (still supplying but not meeting the load) with 10-20% left and then the percentage has dropped fairly quickly ending last night on 3% before the 23.30 charge kicks in. The battery voltage also went down to 45v. with individual cells showing 2.something (sorry didn’t make a note). None of this has happened before. The battery occasionally gets run out and gets 100% charge every night.
Gen 1 5kw, 9.5 battery, 6.24 panels east/west, IOG, Tesla and a Viesmann heat pump!
Any ideas?

SimonClarke Think the app Energy graph has been playing up for a number of us over the last week, but appears fixed now.

The app thing was/is irritating but the battery thing is more annoying

SimonClarke Have you tried a battery recalibration recently? I did one a couple of days ago and the SOC has improved at the lower end on my 9.5. You can do it yourself now in the portal.

SimonClarke The SoC on your battery is wildly out. It happens a lot if you haven't been cycling the battery regularly (every couple of days). Either calibrate it or regularly charge to 100% and discharge to 4%.

Vestas it does get run down probably a couple of times a month and charged to 100% every night. This issue has suddenly occurred and I’ve not made any changes. Just seems such a coincidence that it happened at the same time as the app problem and heat pump install. Giv admitted causing a problem trying to fix the app which turned timed charge and export off but they are both working now. I’d never seen the battery below 50v before.

SimonClarke I regularly see the battery below 50V (its at 48.92V now).

Try a timed export until the battery is empty then AC charge to 100%, allowing about 15-30 minutes between the end of the export and the start of the charge. If it takes about 4-4.5 hours to fully charge then there's nothing dramatically wrong with the battery.

I emailed Giv about it so I’ll wait till Monday then give it a go if they don’t do anything. It’s just the sudden change that bothers me

SimonClarke You're simply putting more load on the battery now you have the heatpump so SoC crashes will become more frequent/apparent, whereas before you might not have got to that stage as rapidly (if at all).

Battery needs calibrating or cycling a few times IMHO.

Vestas can’t blame the heat pump it’s only been on dhw which runs while the battery is charging. I suspect it will need calibration but will wait to hear from Giv in case they admit to messing something else up!

So Givenergy did the update to 3017 and then a calibration which all seems to have worked fine. It would have been nice to have been given a timing choice and even better to have retained the settings because last night it didn’t charge as both timed charge and export were both switched off so we ended up exporting the contents and then recharging partially on the grid to do the calibration and then down to 46% this morning. Pure chance that the only draw on the battery was the heat pump which normally runs dhw at the same time the battery charges. Annoying that giv can’t at least advise people to check there settings after an update/calibration or better still just retain the settings.
Guess I’ll be keeping an eye on it for a while…..

Oh and still no explanation for why the battery suddenly started to run down
