Various APP issues with data

1. App shows eroneous data, the app shows usage of 4.04KW when nothing on in house, even when refreshed.
   Smart meter monitor show zero.
2. App does not refresh even when forced for at least 5 minutes and sometimes 10 or longer, hardly real tim or even near real time..

Are you in ‘Home’ or ‘Away’ mode in the app?

If you are in Home mode then it should show you data that’s up to 15 seconds delayed as that’s the poll frequency.

If you are in Away mode then it’ll show the last data received by the portal, which is normally every 5 minutes refreshed from the inverter, but if your inverter has disconnected from the wifi it could be much older.

Suggest you set Home mode if you are not using it already. See the givenergy user manual (video’s on youtube as well). 3 bars top left, settings, local monitoring then search for your inverters and add them to the ‘known inverter’ list
