Update on my missing data from August (principally 23rd, 27th, 28th and 29th).
I had an export bill for August but no import bill. Guessing it was the 133 blocks of data showing as missing in the Octoprice app I sent a message as PianSom suggested to Octopus on X asking for a re-pull of the data and they responded that they’d get it done.
Kept periodically checking in the octoprice app, still showing 133 missing blocks of data.
Today I got my electricity bill covering import for all of August and September and export for September.
The Octoprice app still believes that I have 133 blocks of missing data in August and sure enough when I check the specific days data in my bill, it only shows import in the non-missing blocks. Cross checking to the import data in Home Assistant from my inverter though, the daily totals for those days match the figures that Octopus have to 1 decimal place of a kWh, and in the “missing data periods” there’s no import showing on my inverter, it looks like genuinely zero import as shown on my Octopus bill.
So no consumption estimation at standard variable rate was done which is what I feared, and quite why the Octoprice app thinks there is missing data when Octopus doesn’t, I guess is down to the Octoprice app.
Anyway all good. Average import rate for the 727kWh imported in August and September was 6.16p. Predbat doing its thing well
