New battery installed today as the previous one apparently wasn’t performing as it should. The engineers advised me that there was new software being installed with regard to the calibration. The battery is now showing idle at 4%. At no point have I been notified it was recalibrating, and it will recharge overnight to ful during cheap tariff rate.
Have they now changed the procedure for recalibrating or are they just slow in initiating it.

Richy999 When a calibration starts you would get a notification via the GivEnergy mobile app. You would also see it as a message on the web portal. Sounds to me like it’s not been kicked off.

You can actually do it yourself via the web portal now.

Where do I do it myself. Is it from the app or the web. Can you point me in the right direction please to initiate.

Richy999 On the AIO it is a new option via the web portal / remote control. There are other posts about this (trying to time it to recharge at low rates)...

CW Thanks for that information. I set it to calibrate last night and it worked perfectly. It first discharged the battery to 0% (Below the 4% norm) and then charged it to 100%. The whole cycle took 3 hours from 01:30 to 04:30 so was well within my off peak time.
