Dongle Firmware Update Failing?

Been receiving the following messages at the same time every night for a few weeks now. Looks like it is trying (and failing) to update the dongle on my AC-3.0 inverter.

Any ideas on why it is failing or what would change if it succeeded?

Communication between dongle and router appears fine.

For those without a microscope to hand the message reads:

Time: 02:50 or 03:20 or 03:50 (three attempts every night at the same times)
User: Server
Register: Dongle Firmware Version
Message: Inverter Timeout
Previous Value:
Value Sent:
Response: -1
Via: Automated Maintenance

Woodstock This has been going on since Feb 24 or so. Basically its polling all installed systems to see if you have one of the new(er) dongles to update it. If you don't then you get the message you see.
