I am using Timed Charge for my battery from 0200 to 0500. Yesterday, I tried to change that to get a boost mid-afternoon but it never worked even though the new setting was declared a Success. I reset the times to 0200-0500 and I got the full charge.
What might I be doing wrong? How far ahead should I set the start time?
Roy124 It's difficult to diagnose that sort of thing from "it didn't work". Did it effectively pause battery discharge, which might suggest the battery was already at the target SoC level.
There's no need for any advance notice on setting the start time: if you configure a start time in the past and an end time in the future, it should immediately start charging.
Perhaps post the last few entries in the remote-control log - that should let us see which settings you changed.

On the portal, on the inverter page, click on the gears icon in the top right. (It might be in the drop-down menu). There's a button at the top to 'JUMP TO LOGS", or just scroll down to the bottom.

Eco and timed-charge can co-exist quite happily - no need to be in one or the other. (Despite GE often presenting them as "modes".)
Thank you, found Remote Control History. Both the settings for yesterday and today are correctly displayed. Not only that, but the Import is now taking place. Today I set it at 2 hrs, can't remember the initial SOC but 2 hrs will happily take me through the high rate section.
Roy124 That's good. Now that you've found the remote-control page, you might notice that there are actually 10 charging slots available (assuming your system is quite new - I don't remember exactly what you have). The app only shows you the first one.
That said, I'm guessing that you only want to charge up in the afternoon if your battery is a little low, rather than unconditionally, so this may not be that useful to you.
I have found the charge/discharge settings but only that I have only got Charge 1 and Discharge 1 and Discharge 2 options.
My system was installed in May 23, is a 5.22kW battery and an HY3.6 Inverter with software DO450-AO451
