Battery will not discharge into home

Ive had my battery for 2 years and never had any problems. This afternoon I topped it up to 100% and topped my car up too using GO intelligent cheap rate. I unplugged the car and the charged the battery from within the app from charge to Play. The battery was at about 75% then

But this evening when I went to the app I saw that the abttery was now at 100% and not discharging to my home. Checking my Octopus app I see that the home has been powered directly fro the grid since around 3 pm this afternoon.

So the battery continued to charge itself to 100% and now at 100% it refuses to discharge to power my home. The app is shoping the battery as IDLE under latest data.

From within the app I can change the setting to discharge and the battery will then immediately discahrge to both the grid and my home. I then try to change it back to Play, the app does so and the battery stops discharging and returns to idle and my home takes all its power from the grid.

Something is not right with the battery and I cannot for the life of me see what it might be.

The Inverter Firmware Version is:

D0.205-A0.205

the battery Firmware is 3017

Any help or suggestions on how to get my battery back to 'normal' would be appreciated

QPRfan Try doing a ‘reset to defaults’ in the portal, this often fixes must ‘inverter gone west’ type problems

Also worth checking what the battery reserve level is, it should be 4%. If this is stuck at 100% then this will prevent discharging.

I have the same problem and a reset to defaults didn’t fix it

Best thing to do is probably call GE support - they can look through the settings and spot anything causing this.

Or could have a look at the "remote control" part of the portal and have a look through them yourself, to see if there are any unexpected 100% settings. (Though of course it's hard to know what's unexpected when you're not familiar with them.)
