adding a wind turbine

Hi there im looking at a wind turbine for my farm a tesup atlas 4.0 does anyone know can this be added to the battery system and my 20 solar panels ?

Cant see why not. If you can put a CT clamp on its AC to grid output, it should be able to feed into the GiveEnergy Portal

Can I just say I looked at the tesup, there are some youtube reviews I strongly suggest watching before buying one. Basically the thing falls apart in high wind and is dangerous.

brianallan I was looking at the 'marine' type ones a little while ago. Come across this website to have a look at some models etc, but didn't chase anything up.
It may help having a look into it.
One of the things that put me off, is that although wind is a much viable source, its cost vs say solar panels is to be desired, however at least wind is a day/night thing etc, you just need to look at all options i guess.

I really like the idea of getting a turbine in the low kilowatt range to supplement solar overnight and during winter, but the requirements to fit one put me off, in particular the onward impact of getting an ASHP (which is realistically the easiest possible replacement for the gas boiler). Being able to generate reliably all year though is a huge draw.

brianallan As mentioned, marine equipment. But it is expensive. I have been looking on and off for a wind source since July last year and recently ended up going down the ripple route instead.
