Just after midnight this morning my Inverter started a firmware upgrade from version 535 to 205(???)
After it had finished, it continued to charge my batteries until 05:30.
It then started to discharge at 2.5kWh to the grid. when I spotted what was happening, I tried to contact Givenergy , to no avail and left messages.
I decided to reset the inverter, which stopped the discharge to the grid, thank God.
I went out at 09:15 everything was working fine.
The system received remote programming to charge my batteries from 13:30-15:30 - successful.
Then the discharge to the grid started again and when I got in at 21:15, the batteries were completely drained.
Has anyone else had this problem, heard of a solution or know anything that could help me please?

what inverter and battery do you have?
what firmware were you on before?
did you get any calibration notifications?

No mention of recalibration.
None of the inverter software setting were changed, however, I came across the following settings in the new dashboard. The setting were never changed and the Solar and Battery option was selected.
I read that "Please be aware that automating your system in this way will potentially override any other configuration you have previously set" and it occurred to me that it might be over-riding the setting that says that Discharge is disabled.
I deselected it and set the inverter to recharge the batteries over night, and to date, there has been no more discharge to the Grid. I don 't really understand what all of the settings do, but I might have stumbled on the fix by accident.
