Is there a way to read data directly from the inverter ? All I can find is API for talking to the cloud.
If the internet goes down then I would still like to collect data.
Also if GE go bust - will we be able to control our equipment without the cloud ?

Also the app atleast reads values locally so your not totally running blind if the cloud goes down, not sure if the settings can be changed without having to use the cloud bits (suspect not as the portal would go out of step)
May unplug the broadband line and see later...
