This happened nine months ago and was fixed by the engineer who had installed it. I cant get hold of him so can I arrange for this to be fixed myself?

barbara if the battery is reporting 0% then its likely that there is an issue with the battery and inverter talking to each other.

Do you have a gen 1 inverter by any chance? If so, the communications cable that plugs into the bottom of the inverter may well have come loose, its a poor design. You can put it back yourself but you'll have to remove the black cover that the cable goes through and make sure you plug it into the right socket underneath the inverter.

If you don't have a gen 1 then I can't offer any suggestions other than to talk to givenergy support
