I can't restrict the discharge time of the battery at the moment, it was working fine a few days ago. The other settings are ok, timed charge is still working. I like to be able to set the battery to discharge from 1600 onwards if there isn't much charge. I've tried resetting battery to default values, is there anything else I could try please?

Tony_W did anything change recently, or did it break spontaneously?
What inverter/firmware do you have. One behaviour I discovered recently on my system (gen-3 hybrid - might be a bug) is that if you configure a discharge window with a discharge limit, that limit is honoured even if timed discharge is not enabled. So rather than using the official timed-discharge behaviour (fully disabled discharge until given time) I can use multiple discharge slots to stage a descent - until 1pm, only discharge if above 60%; until 4pm, only discharge if above 40%, etc.

It seems to have broken spontaneously, Inverter Model is GIV-HY3.6, Firmware Version D0.909-A0.909. I don't see that I have the option to set a discharge limit at all, and although the discharge time is called "Slot 1", I haven't located where to set a second slot either.

Tony_W according to the knowledge base, 909 should have extra slots but you can only access them through the remote control page. But chances are that firmware doesn't have that behaviour.

DD Yes, I've seen that I'm overdue for an update but I'm not going to do it now, the Sun's shining and we want to make the most of it!
