Scheduled car charges now set to start an hour earlier after clock change.

I discovered last night 2 days after the clocks turned back this weekend that all my EV charging schedules are now showing as due to start at 11:30 instead of 00:30 when my cheap rate starts. I discovered this at midnight last night so it had already pumped 25 mins of standard rate power into my car! I'm pretty cross - I got a nice message from the inverter on Sunday morning to say it had successfully synchronised the time so why would I even think I need to go in and change the schedule start time for my GE charger? My scheduled GE battery charge time seems to still be fine - just the EV charger schedule.

GIV-HY5.0 Gen 3, Inverter software D0.309-A0.309, battery firmware 3017.

Anyone else found this to happen?

I have the same inverter and software versions. I only have one schedule that repeats each day. Nothing seems to have changed regarding the times. I had disabled the schedule over the weekend.

I do not have an EV charger but use a number of Givenergy smart plugs. I have the same issue with the smart plugs. Like you I got a nice message from the inverter saying that the time had been updated. I can not find any options in the app or web page to correct this. Gen 3 inverter.

CazT Exactly the same experience here - Received the resynch message, and the next EV charging session found to have started 1 hour earlier than originally scheduled (schedule had been changed, but no log messages). Presently trying to work out what could have happened, but definitley think it was linked to the change from BST. We have AIO with Gateway and GivEnergy EV charger to the latest updates.

Sarand0588 Interesting. I wonder if it makes a difference when the schedule was set up (set up during GMT or BST time of year). I've reported it to GE as a bug.

CazT We had our charger installed late April, this year, so BST. TBH, I hadn't even thought about the overall GivEnergy 'clock' setting, and needing to account for BST, until the resynch message. I certainly don't recall what happened to the AIO settings earlier in the year when the clocks went forward.
