I decided to update from BMS 6 to 10 on Wednesday.

The battery is set to charge from 23:30 to 05:30. Normally after it has finished charging it sits there doing nothing until 05:30, however yesterday it sat discharging a steady 41watts and this morning 68watts. I know its not a lot, but its more than it was doing.

Is this to do with the new software?

I think this is normal, I think mine has always done it. If it drops low enough to lower the SOC because you’re in the charge period it will recharge it.

JasonF thanks Jason, just seems odd that on version 6 it would sit at 0 watts.

They changed some stuff that allowed it to report lower values before showing 0, so before it just wasn’t reporting the numbers. If you have solar you’ll also see it there, it used to not report below 200w but that’s now not the case.

JasonF thanks Jason, this morning it sat at a constant 73 watts so slightly higher still.

It’s also now only giving me 9.5-10kwh before dropping to 4% versus 13.5kwh before, so I think I need to see if they will roll me back to version 6.

Yeah SOC tracking is still wild IMO.
