Turned timed charge off while away. Back on, charges to 100% despite my setting.

We've been using timed charge overnight to top up the pack in cloudy weather.

We were away on holiday, and power usage was low, the pack was getting to 100% from solar and it didn't need charging overnight.

I made the fatal mistake of turning off timed charge, because now it's back on, the battery charges to 100% and ignores my setting.

I've been repeatedly setting the level to a lower level since then, the value we set is reflected in both of our apps, but the battery charges to 100% regardless. Is this a bug? there a way I can set it via the web interface?

ohp some inverters have two competing registers controlling the target level. The app/web settings set the wrong one.
If you go into the remote control page, if there are multiple charging slots (near the bottom of the page), check whether the slot #1 limit is 100%
The app sets the one near the top of the page.
(I thought this had been fixed recently, but maybe only for some systems.)

ohp Have you checked on the portal remote control section. The 'Enable AC Charge Upper % Limit' may be disabled.

OK, have set the enable AC charge upper limit to enabled, let's see if that fixes things, thanks!

Mine was ignoring the SOC % setting after the recent firmware updates, I got in contact with givenergy and they have upgraded the firmware again to the latest which is still to be released on the portal, it has been performed as expect since
