From about two days ago I have noticed that the app on my iPhone does not auto-display the "home" readings. The only way to get them is to press/select "Home". Odd, as I do not think there has been a recent update to the app, and I cannot find a select slider on the settings menu. Anyone else had the same issue?
Givenergy App on iPhone.
I have exactly the same issue, additionally I have 2 battery's installed and when I touch on the battery icon on the main screen it does not allow me to see the second battery. As you indicated this has only happened since the 2nd Nov
Deleted and re-installed the app but no change.
Looking from the portal all looks good!!!!!

Do you have the address of the inverter stored in the app, or is it configured to search every time ?
Configuring a fixed address in your router does tend to make life simpler.
Thanks for the quick replies. At least I am not alone!! Regarding DD, I do not understand why I should suddenly have to change/configure a fixed address in my router, when the app has been working perfectly for nearly two years. I really do not want to start fiddling around with my BT router just for the sake of not having to press the "Home" marker on the app. I will just have to put up with it...... Cheers anyway!
This is due to an app upgrade. I contacted GE as I also noticed these changes. They responded as follows:
'The home network was moved to an option you have to click on as when customers were away from home it would cause timeout issues when initially trying to connect to home.
The battery pack details have been moved to one combined info to streamline the process to show an overall capacity to help understand your full capacity at any given moment'.
Allegedly this is progress!

That reads like its been run through an AI chatbot 😃
Ha Ha Vestas!!
I have changed to the fixed I.P. address of my inverter, and although I now still have to manually press the "Home" marker, I have definitely noticed a considerable improvement in the speed/reaction time of the app. for displaying the "10 second" home info. Thank you DD!
One step forward, one step back!!
