Hi all new to this have just had 3.6kw system with 5kw gen 3 inverter and 9.5 battery. I was interested in keeping an eye on the battery as I heard a lot of reports of faulty battery. I have installed the android GivEnergy monitor app by rubikscube but when I select the battery icon on the bottom of the page I get the message “sorry battery information is not available from your inverter because the protocol doesn’t allow it” any idea what’s causing this and why I can’t access the more detailed info for the battery cells, cycles etc
Cheers ADO

ADO Go to the settings gear icon at the top of the page and click on 'collect stats'. Happened to me the other day when I loaded a new phone with the app. Worked for me!

Cheers I will give it a go tomorrow as I’ve had to load it on another phone

Run the app on the monitor screen for a few minutes (at least 12 cycles) and it should sort it.

I hadn't thought of that, I will try and fix it in the next release.

Thanks I already had the app set to show stats so left it running for a few minutes and the battery info is there now. Up to now the battery looks ok 👍🏻
