Hybrid Inverter Gen2 - WiFi device

The images of the Gen2 inverters on the web and data-sheet show an antenna protruding from the bottom of the inverter, and do not show the USB WiFi dongle as used on the Gen1 inverters.

Has anyone actually got a Gen2 inverter installed to be able to confirm how the WiFi connection is implemented?

If the WiFi is built-in, could a larger antenna be fitted to boost the signal levels?

Yes. The dongle is built-in. There is only a wifi aerial on the right-hand corner of the inverter, pointing down.

The aerial is (looks like) a normal one, that you can find on routers. It is attached by screwing it in, so easily removable.
