...so energy cards which one to use and why?

I enabled "Energy Graph (beta)"...It does seem to be exactly the same as the original, same visuals. The values for me were different. Don't know why or what the difference is.
I will leave both cards for a bit, see which one I like better.

There is no documentation, there never is for the GivEnergy system. And when things get changed, you usually find out here rather than in a GivEnergy announcement/changes log.

From the people that have been using them, the smart tariff beta cards appear to work correctly and will control your inverter to charge in the cheap rate period that the tariff offers. There’s a couple of reports of using them and they seem positive so far.
The non-beta smart tariff cards don’t work any more as far as I know.

The energy graphs differ
On beta if you start to go to monthly / years etc with dozens of bars.
It also take an age to pull back the data.
but daily seems to be more current (within an hour). the non beta version is often 4 hrs late.

for smart tariff beta, it will happily schedule battery charge slots based of your pricing points set.

I use both of each.,

Apparently the Beta graphs play nicer with multi inverter / multi AIO systems - don't have mine set as plant so can't really say for sure!

i am seeing readouts on my non beta

..agree it would be more than helpful to have detailed context and tariff applicability how to use as well as how to set up...etc info dropping down from the query button...!

...installing 2nd aio next week so beta power seems worth time to check out

..interesting the non beta is 4 hours late..not sure that's useful as i am on oct agile

...so also peeked at beta automation
...initial feel this is better for the 2 level charging tariffs like cosy etc rather than multi level tariff..

any thoughts...?
