Hi all,

I've had my GE system in about 3 months and Predbat / HA running the show for pretty much the entire time.

Last night, this has all stopped working. No data from GivTCP, Predbat showing no data or plan.

Inverter controls set to force charge failed, until I fully powered down the inverter and batteries, waited and powered them all back up again. Then did a defaults reset and finally, could force the charge.

However, I'm still not seeing anything in HA.

Only action taken prior to issue was migration of my Proxmox VM to another storage location.

Subsequently have tried minor release of ha core downgrade, restarting services etc prior to the hardware tasks above.

I've raised GitHub tickets for Predbat and GivTCP, and additionally I figured there would be some knowledgeable folks here.

Any suggestions???

Thanks
Steve

munkaysteve I’ve commented on the Github issues, but it looks like a GivTCP/inverter issue where the inverter is not accepting connection from GivTCP.

Resetting and restarting the inverter is how I’ve got mine back to life when it happened to me.

munkaysteve did you upgrade Home Assistant by any chance? To 2024.11.03 ??

geoffreycoan Thanks for going through and looking. I did fully power down the hardware and then reset inverter to defaults. Is there anything I may have missed?

TX200 - Yes, it did upgrade. I downgraded core after to 2024.11.02. Is there a bug here I need to do more code rollback on?

Roll back to previous system backup does appear to have solved the issue on face value. I'm monitoring now for a short while.
