How do I change the inverter settings to stop daytime charging from the solar, which I want to export?

What kit have you got?
What tariff are you on?
Why do you want to export when your import cost is probably more than you will get paid for export?
Do you have the app on your phone?

2Southcliff I do it in one of two ways: use the pause timer to pause-charging (not available on oldest systems); turn off eco mode.

Disadvantage of the former is there is no mitigation for solar clipping - probably not important at this time of year. Disadvantage of latter is of course that battery doesn't cover any dips when clouds pass over. But if solar exceeds AC capacity, excess does get sent to the battery.

Or you could just reduce charging power. On my hybrid system, even setting it to 0 still charges at over 200W - pause gets it down to about 28, and eco-off to 0.

I'd go for reduced charge rate - as turning off eco would mean you use the grid if the sun goes in.

Unless people are happy to use the grid instead of the battery.
