Having installed a new circuit breaker and reinstated the CT Clamps in very similar position the system is showing very high usage 9.2KW, I have turned pretty much everything apart from the fridge off and it does not change the usage in any real way.
Checked the old spinning meter outside and it is turning slowly like normal when all the heavy heating is off.

Any idea or suggestions on what to try?

Thanks
Keith

Craigedarroch I'd guess you've got the CT clamp on backwards, which means it's reporting export as import. eg you might exporting 4kW, but it thinks you're actually importing 4kW, which means it assumes house load is 8kW over what it should be.

Have tried the clamp on both directions and doesn't seem to make any real difference, I was wandering if there was any sort of set up/calibration required?

Craigedarroch There’s no calibration of the CT clamps, and shouldn’t need to be if you’re just changing a circuit breaker.

If there’s separate CT clamps for the Solar and grid, have you swapped them round?

Might need to call your installer back to look at the problem
