I’m trying to identify the IP address of my GivEnergy EV Charger so I can enter it into the GivTCP config in Home Assistant. I have tried all of the ‘unknown’ IP addresses in my Sky Router’s connected devices table but to no avail. Any advice gratefully received e.g. what MAC address style should I be looking for to help pin the IP down?

Hi. You might need to search this forum, but by default the Gen1 Hy5.0 dongle I have got was called something like HF-A21 (i have renamed it so can't confirm-sorry)

EV charger uses a different chipset, so not HF.... only problem is I can't remember what the EV one is!

SteveClubley try turning it off, then see which devices in your routers list stop responding to pings?
Or snoop the network, then when you turn it back on, you may see DHCP requests from it. Or chech DHCP lserver logs if you have access to those.

I think that worked as one IP address disappeared and same one came back when powered up the charger. It’s really slow if I try to open the landing page with a browser which is why I couldn’t identify it previously. Come up with “SE INSTALLATION LOGIN”.
MAC address format is 94:C9…
However GivTCP v3 doesn’t seem to find the EVC device and entities when I add the IP address of the charger via the Configuration.
