I have often wondered why the Power demand card and the Energy usage cards don't show a separate category for EV power / energy.
Including these in the Load category seems odd when the EV numbers can easily be much bigger than house demand- particularly if no ASHP.
The data must be there as it is shown on the Power flow card and is available on the EV charger page.
So I finally got around to sending an email to the support bods asking if they could make this an option.
I had this rather dismissive response from GivE:
_This is counter productive to the majority of the customer base. As the EVC is still load on the property regardless of whether you know it is charging or not which is why it is taken into account on the load calculations.
If you do not want this to show you can install it on its own consumer unit split from the main supply and then put the CT clamp on the other side of the henley block monitoring the entire house except the EVC. _
which I think shows that they didn't understand my suggestion.
