Does anybody have a problem with Smart Plugs showing incorrect energy usage in the iOS app? More often than not, the graph doesn’t return back to 0 when the plug is physically switched off at the wall socket (remains at the usage value at the point the plug was switched off)? This is the graph from the button on the bottom left of the screen. The graph from the button on the right appears to be correct.
The overall usage data seems to be correct but the graph is wrong.

Is there anything that needs to be done to ensure the plug is shutdown cleanly?

Thanks

There is nothing you can do on your end. You have physical button on the device and button in the app. App must correctly recognize state and current power draw of the plug. If it doesn't, report the bug to GivEnergy, or request warranty replacement, as plug may be faulty or whatever. Even if it isn't, it will rattle their cage a little and maybe force them to fix the problem.

I wondered about these smart plugs, asked my installer about them after battery was already installed. He said we would have to incur multiple shipping charges (from GE to him and from him to me) plus VAT, amounting to about £50 for two sockets. As these cannot be bought directly from GE, only through an installer.
So I went to Argos and bought four Tapo/TP-Link smart sockets for £27.99, problem solved.

RichC I have this problem with mine and find it's a bug in the app rather than faulty plugs.

It can take about 5 refresh's of the app the get It to line up but it does work. It's the same for checking the smart tariff and then clicking on Home, the 10 second refresh stops working and just sits there with the time counting upwards.
I have to click on cloud monitoring and then back to home (local) for it to get itself right.
