Android app updated - no longer auto checks HOME

Just updated the android GE app and as well as lots of new things, it no longer checks for HOME connection. It just defautls to AWAY and I have to manually tap the HOME tag to get it to switch to home.

I didn’t update the app but got a new phone. All settings the same but it wouldn’t connect to home. Just rebooted it and it is now seeing home. I tried this a few times so why it worked this time I don’t know

alan_johnston Yes. Annoying. But some like it that way. Just give us the choice as an option?

It has always been rubbish. I have a VPN to home so it can always see the inverter but it only looks if I am on Wifi. It doesn't have to be my home Wifi as any Wifi has access through the VPN and so does phone data but it won't look when it is just on phone data.

I don't use the app that much these days. When at home I use the inverter monitor app and when out and about use WonderWatt or the GE web portal.
