Battery discharges

Hi 👋
Why does the energy suddenly discharge from my battery during this time? Around 4 am I don’t believe I made any setting changes for this to happen.

KingPed You were importing from grid prior to this event - had battery already run out ? My system does this too, from time to time - once battery has reached the minimum and goes idle, the BMS gets a chance to reevaluate how much energy it's storing. You might notice the SoC creeping up a little, and then once it's gone up a few percent, it starts discharging again.

DD the battery was set to 20% min charge and was not full before the decharge. We have no set usage times and usually the battery charges up and is used up soon as we would have normal go on grids. Eg charges in the day and gets used early evening. Do you find it the same?

I would also question why the system is indicating a solar input of 227w when it's dark?

KingPed I think chart is showing you 3h as you selected, but "Peak Power" table is showing you entire day of 17th December, peak numbers for the day. Hence the discharge of 243W it has recorded.

Agreed, but why is the discharge rate so low? I would expect something in the house to trigger a higher demand. This could be an State of Charge issue where the SOC suddenly drops and then the system starts to charge again, but I would expect the charge rate to be a lot higher in this instance. I suggest the user resets all settings and monitors usage again.

anthonypar the battery isn't charging from the grid, but is discharging to cover consumption.

KingPed could you post a longer interval of the chart, to give a wider view of activity before 4pm.
