Battery discharge rate not changing after making adjustments in portal.

Last night I reduced the battery discharge rate to 900W to prevent it being completely drained when my EV was charging, and today I've twice tried to restore the discharge rate to maximum (2600W) using the slider on the my inverter > settings page of the portal, both times it said "settings changed successfully", but the battery is still only discharging at 900W when the load goes above this. Any ideas?

What are you trying to do?

I think the common suggestion is to set timecharge settings is such a way that to prevent the battery to discharge.

Don't change the rates. And once you make a change, give it some time (depending on your internet) before refreshing to see the saved rate.

Easiest option, is use the Portal or App, to restore defaults Setting. Make sure you get the confirmation settings have been changed

TheDragon (GivEnergy) I resolved the original issue by pressing "submit", again, though I'm sure I got the settings changed message ok the time before, but today I have another issue. Battery was quite happily discharging at up to 2500W when necessary until lunchtime, but since I plugged my wife's car in to charge this afternoon, it hasn't discharged at more than 1250W, even when demand was well over 3kW for about 20 minutes while solar was down to <200W.

I'll restore defaults, but does the inverter algorithm have some sort of "learning" function, which causes it to limit the discharge rate based on what it thinks you'll need for a period of time ahead?

Will have to wait until someone goes in the shower a bit later to see if it's fixed itself.

Ok, that's fixed it, but still no clue as to why it did it in the first place.
