I'm wondering if anyone else has had an issue with the battery cover blowing off in the high wind. This happened to mine yesterday for the 2nd time.
If you had how did you make it secure so it won't happen again?

Grahams What battery model do you have?

The 9.5 battery has screw connectors every 6-8 inches all around the edge, would find that very difficult to come off by accident?

If your battery is so exposed it would probably benefit from being enclosed, not least of which it would keep the battery warmer and prevent the charge rate from dropping dramatically when its cold outside

It's an "all in 1 13.5 Kw/H battery" There are only 2 screws holding it, both on the same side. I was told it doesn't need to be enclosed.

Grahams Ah, didn't appreciate you have an AIO. 2 screws doesn't seem a good design when compared to the older product range where the cover was very securely fixed on.

The AIO's are high voltage compared to the 5.2, 8.2, 9.5 battery range and I don't think they suffer the same issues with charge rate dropping significantly when temperatures are low, but having said that I'd think there would be still some effect as at the end of the day the battery charging and discharging is a chemical process inside.

I'd raise this with your installer in the first instance as they've recommended the kit to be installed outside and if the cover blows off that can't be right
