Power outage

It's been a while since posting as everything has been working fine. I updated my AIO firmware to the latest version last week - and it feels as though I'm getting more usable capacity. All good. I didn't upgrade the gateway at the same time as it involved cutting power to the house.

This evening, our power went off for about 10 seconds - our neighbours were unaffected. There were no breakers out on the main board.

Is there anywhere that we can see any logs around outages? Wondering if this was the grid or the gateway... Our battery was pretty much depleted at 4%.

I've now updated the gateway to the latest firmware and keeping fingers crossed. The plan was to have the gateway to improve power reliability - but this outage concerns me.

If the issue persists, can we remove the gateways feature of "backup" to revert to just the grid all the time?

Anybody else seen issues like this (random gateway causing whole house dark)??

Yes - goto my Inverters and look at meter data - you should see rows or zeros for frequency, voltage and current where there was one

It’s an outlier but the 10sec thing bugged me- were you running a bunch of stuff at the time?
The gateway is limited to 80A through it and does actively disconnect from grid if this is exceeded.

CW - thanks for helping out here. I've not got any meaningful data at all in the Gateway data sections - is this right / common?

I do have data in the AIO section - but nothing I can decipher from the column headings as to which is of note - nor see any anomalies in the data around the 8pm time at which it happened.

hoggy Thanks for the input - that's interesting to know about the 80A ceiling. Nothing high consumption wise going on - maybe dishwasher and dryer and gaming consoles... Around 8pm in the graph below - "X" marks the spot.

BlokeFromStoke You need to be looking at the inverter data rather than the gateway (although this may not be true if you have more than 1 AIO as I beleive the gateway then controls them). You would be looking at the Grid Data tab (my bad!!) and the looking for volts/power/frequency

ah - cool - yup, that data tab is inside the "Inverter information" > then System data within my AIO - nothing suspicious there... Think it's around 20:09...
