New batteries

Hi all - looking for some quick advice. Im not seeing a post that covers this with community advice but happy to be posted to it.

I've just had my GE batteries installed. I wasn't at home but the installer said they were currently charging and would be ready in the morning.

Looking at the system the power is 26% and discharging.

I understand it's best to do a full charge then discharge at the start - do I just set the reserve to 100% (currently 4%) to do this?

Any too tips from the community would be appreciated?

They will fully discharge, then fully charge.
Fully discharge to the real 0% and fully charge to 100%. This sets the boundaries, in which the inverter works out where the SOC is, relative to the battery voltage.

This process is mandatary to commission the batteries.
Set your reserve to 4% if you aren't using EPS. Set the Mode to Default (Dynamic) Unless you need something particular

If you look online at your dashboard you should be able to see that it has done the full charge and discharge cycle. If not then contact the installer or call/email givenergy support who will be the ones who tell it to do that process anyway.
